José Carvalho is a Portuguese ceramic artist creating sculptural and decorative ceramics from his studio in Aldeia do Meco, Sesimbra, Portugal.

Inspired by landscape, Korean and Japanese ceramic traditions and natural materials, his work explores proportion, texture and volcanic glaze surfaces.
